 LAHORE: Under the energy saving campaign, gas supply to many parts of Punjab has been suspended on Tuesday. All CNG stations of Lahore, Multan and Gujranwala have been closed today; supply to Gujranwala’s industries has been also suspended for two days. According to Sui Northern Gas Company (SNGC), under the weekly break of gas, more than 1,000 CNG stations of Central and Southern Punjab will remain closed till 6.00am tomorrow. The two day gas suspension to Multan and Gujranwala’s industries has created severe trouble and unrest for thousands of laborers. CNG stations in Faisalabad are scheduled to remain closed on Wednesday (tomorrow); those in Islamabad and Bahawalpur will be closed on Saturday. |
