Sindh, Punjab agree to resolve water issue amicably

ISLAMABAD: The chief ministers of Sindh and Punjab have agreed to solve the water issue rationally and peacefully, said sources Tuesday.

The two chief ministers talked in detail about the distribution of water between the two provinces and the Chashma-Jhelum link canal, at the meeting held in the prime minister house in Islamabad today.

Both ministers agreed to solving the problem amicably.

The meeting wad also attended by the senior advisor to Chief Minister Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khosa, senior provincial minister Raja Riaz, Sindh minister for Irrigation Syed Murad Ali Shah and Provincial Minister for Food Nadir Magsi.
