 KARACHI: A Jeddah-bound PIA flight is yet to leave the Karachi Airport despite an 18-hour long delay in departure of its scheduled time. Moreover, PIA flights to New Delhi and Riyadh which are to take off from Lahore, are also faced with the inordinate delay. The PIA administration failed to timely inform the passengers about the possible delay. As a result, the passengers are faced with long and anxious wait at the airports. Some of the passengers are going to Saudi Arabia for performing Umrah. The stranded passengers said that the PIA officials did not make any arrangements for Sehri, due to which they had to go in fasting by consuming water only.
