KARACHI: At least 63 people have been killed and more than 150 sustained injuries during two days of violence in metropolis.Situation remained tense in the city for third day today, which paralysed normal life. Over 50 vehicles, furniture market, tea stalls and shops set on fire in last 36 hours. Sixty-three people have been shot dead and more than 150 wounded in the violent incidents.
Unknown persons torched over 10 trucks in Essa Nagri on Wednesday night. Dozens of stalls also set ablaze in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Abul Hasan Isphani Road and Liaquatabad.
The violence broke out after killing of MQM leader and MPA Raza Haider on Monday evening.
