MATLI: There is no shortage of water for irrigation purpose in province of Sindh, said Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah here on Saturday, Geo news reported.Addressing a mass rally held in connection with the 17th death anniversary of former Sindh minister for finance Dr. Ismael Odejo, CM Qaim said even the areas located at the dead ends of channels are receiving water in abundance.
“We must admit this fact now that the water is in abundance in Sindh province”, he revealed.
The deriving poor women are being provided with Rs.5,00,000 and Rs.1.50,000 from Federal and Sindh governments, he added.
Other orators also spoke on the occasion including Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Ahmed Khoro, Federal Minister Khursheed Shah.
