Gilani rules out mid-term elections

BALOKI : Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Saturday has ruled out holding of mid-term elections,

During an inauguration ceremony of a power plant at Head Baloki, the PM said that he has no clash with the Chief Justice of Supreme Court. ‘I am on good terms with the CJ; you may ask him if you have any doubts’. He said that Pakistan People’s Party did not believe in confrontational politics.

He categorically stated that the government would not protect the fake degree holders and added that by-polls would be held only if when any seat falls vacant after disqualification of any candidate.

Answering a query, he said he would meet the HEC Chairman very soon.
