 KARACHI: The Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik raided on Karachi passport office Tuesday and surprised the staffers. He also ordered to launch investigation against four staffers for showing negligence in their duties. According to a Foreign Ministry’s statement, Rehman Malik ordered to increase the dealing counters from two to seven and to make a separate counter for the old citizens. The Interior Ministry has appealed the public; all across the country, that if you see any agent at passport office or NADRA office, immediately inform on the phone number of Crises Management Cell of Information Ministry. The Interior Minister warned the officers of the passport offices, across the country, that keep an eye on the agents, working outside the passport offices, and if any agent will be found operating out side the offices, the in-charge officer of the concerned office will be taken to task. |
