 LAHORE: Two robbers were killed in an alleged police encounter in Shahidra Town in Lahore late Saturday night, police said. Four suspected robbers riding two motor cycles snatched cash and mobile phones from two citizens on gunpoint and tried to escape. However, they were intercepted by a police team, which was making its usual patrol rounds. Police said the suspects fired at them, triggering a shootout.
