 ISLAMABAD: Government on Saturday has decided to not appoint the officials who benefited from National Reconciliation Order (NRO), on key posts. Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has directed Establishment Division to furnish urgently a complete list of all those NRO beneficiaries who are presently appointed on various government positions. The decision was taken in reflection of the situation created after the appointment of Adnan Khwaja as Chairman OGDCL. PM Gilani had to take back the notification of Adnan Khwaja’s appointment after Supreme Court's suo motto notice. According to sources, this decision was taken after the federal ministers argued on this issue yesterday in a meeting at Presidential House |
