 MULTAN: Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani and the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, have been briefed on the latest condition of flood hit areas by the Corps Commander (CC) of Multan on Sunday. PM Gilani and COAS Gen. Kayani were briefed in the Multan Armed Division by Corps Commander Multan. All details of the army's relief work, maintenance and reconstruction of the affected houses and arrangements for the return of flood affected people were presented during the briefing. The Federal Water and Power Minister, Raja Parvez Ashraf; Federal Information and Broadcasting Minister, Qamar Zaman Kaira; Federal Minister of Defense Production, Qayyum Jatoi and many other MNAs and MPAs were also present during the briefing. The Prime Minister, after attending the briefing, left for Jampur to spend Eid with the flood victims of the area |
