KARACHI: Raza Haidar, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader who was shot dead last day, has been laid to rest in Shuhda Qabristan, Yaseenabad.His coffin was taken to the Yaseenabad graveyard from Azizabad Ground where the funeral prayers of Raza Haidar along with his guard were held.
The top leadership of MQM including federal and provincial ministers, Senators, MNAs, MPAs, local leaders and party workers attended the funerals.
The security around the Azizabd Ground and Yaseenabad graveyard was beefed up.
MQM’s leaders, Faisal Sabzwari and Babar Ghauri, said that their party does not fear from threats.
