LAHORE: The flash floods have wreaked havoc in different areas of Punjab as Mithan Kot dam has broke down and floodwaters heading towards the city. The evacuation of local residents is in progress as administration directed the residents to move towards safer places. The 8,00,000 cusecs of floodwaters is approaching towards Rajanpur. The mazar of sufi poet Hazrat Khawaja Fareed has been closed keeping in view flood threat.
On the other hand, people stranded in floods in Tonsa Sharif and Dera Ghazi Khan still waiting for government relief.
