LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif Wednesday said that the provincial government will compensate the flood affectees for the damage caused to their property by the devastating floods. He said this while talking to the flood victims during his visit to the flood-hit areas.
The Chief Minister directed the concerned authorities not to exhibit any sluggishness in carrying out the relief activities.
He traveled six miles through the swamped localities, including the areas submerged under 8-feet water, to oversee the ongoing relief activities.
Shahbaz Sharif said flood control centers have been set up in seven districts affected by floods where people can lodge their complaints.
