ANP shuts down offices in city indefinitely

The Awami National Party, Sindh, has decided to shut down its offices in the city for an idefinite period while the party leadership has been advised not to attend public gatherings, The News has learnt.

There are 132 wards and around 1,100 unit offices of the ANP, party sources told The News.

According to the sources in the ANP, a think-tank of the party had directed the Sindh ANP to avoid any kind of public gatherings in the city.

The office-bearers of the ANP wards had also been asked to limit their movement, the sources further said.

The sources, however, said it was too early for them to give any timescale for the re-opening of wards and unit offices.
